The Institute for Quality of Life is a modern “virtual” institution connected to Brazil-Citizen Foundation which can offer free or low cost operational programs and projects. Our services are the following:   1.Lectures, courses and workshops on Quality of Life. A list of subjects is available upon request. Every year a workshop is open to the public. The costs are according to locations: Fortaleza, other cities of the State, etc. Lectures/Conferences (1 or 2 hours) Workshops (4 to 8 hours) Short or long courses Obs.: Prices upon request.   2. Consulting Work:  a)    By Internet (Virtual Clinic): A free appraisal (self evaluation) of your Quality of Life using the Internet. Our homepage shows the 8 elements or atributes of Quality of Life we have been working with for several years. We will be pleased to answer you with no costs, about any of the atributes and/or their indicators. Consults are strictly confidential. Identities will not be displayed and the answers will reach you by E-Mail within no more than five days.   b)Personal Consultations: At the offices (Doctor, Nutricionist, Psychologist) clients will be attended and appointments can be made with one of the professionals or through our Program of General and Preventive Medicine with a special check-up made by the staff. Clients will be considered individually according to their needs and guided to a pleasant and healthy life, preventing illnesses, hospitalizations and unnecessary drugs (medicines)     3. Programs with Organizations: The Programs connected to private and public organizations must be requested directly to the “Institute of Quality of Life” or to the “Brazil-Citizen Foundation”. Our Programs of “Health Promotion/Preventive Medicine and Q.L. improvement” are quite practical and easy to be worked with. Costs: Upon request and depending of the number of participants     4.Community Services: The Institute, being a virtual organization acts in connection with the Brazil-Citizen Foundation assisting institutions and poor communities without any sort of profit. To perform our activities and specific actions, the Institute has a staff of professionals with high levels of qualification on their different areas of activities, who can be mobilized according to each project and services to be accomplished, always under the supervision and full responsability of the Director. Some special projects may require the presence of foreign specialists of high qualification, mainly from Latin America and United States.
